Volunteer Opportunities
Our ministry at the Mid Cities Pregnancy Center would be impossible without our amazing team of volunteers.
Some of our volunteers have had no previous experience in facing unplanned pregnancy; several of our volunteers have experienced crisis pregnancy and abortion situations first hand. 
We invite women with a heart for our ministry, no matter their previous level of knowledge or experience, to learn more about our ministry and prayerfully consider joining us.
Client-Advocates
We currently have openings for volunteer peer counselors at both our North Richland Hills and Irving locations. Our peer counselors commit to completing our in-depth training program and a weekly, four-hour clinic shift. More information on our training process is listed under the training schedule below. As peer-counselors meet with each client, they listen, compassionately share education on all pregnancy options, and share the pregnancy test result. Many of our clients welcome the opportunity to pray and hear the gospel message. Client advocates usually have the ability to follow up with clients after initial visits to offer further encouragement and support.
Post-Abortion Peer Counselors
Post-abortion peer counselors meet one-on-one with women experiencing pain from a past abortion in a confidential, eight-week program. For more information on volunteering for this rewarding ministry, please contact Lisa, our client services manager at lisa@mcpregnancy.org.
Medical Team
We welcome volunteers with a degree in nursing or current licensing in sonography to join our medical team. Please contact Paula Odom at paula@mcpregnancy.org for more information on partnering with this exciting ministry in either the North Richland Hills or Irving location.
Administrative Support
Opportunities are available to assist our clinics in administrative, clerical and technology support. Please contact Missy at missy@mcpregnancy.org for more information on serving in these areas.
Baby Bottles
Baby bottle campaigns are a valuable link from our center to churches and communities. Our special baby bottles are carried to churches and homes to be filled with change and are also reminders for the prayer our center needs. Please contact Paulette at paulette@mcpregnancy.org to find out how to bring a baby bottle campaign to your church or group.
Church Liaison
Serving as a Mid Cities Pregnancy Center church liaison connects your church to information about our concerts, banquets, and ministry needs and opportunities, as well as moving stories and requests for prayer. If you are interested in linking your church to our center, please contact Paulette at paulette@mcpregnancy.org.
Men’s Ministry
While we do not currently have openings for male peer-counselors, we welcome the support and service of men with a heart for our ministry. We are currently forming a ‘Men for Life’ service group. If you would like to serve in our men’s ministry area, please contact menforlife@mcpregnancy.org.
Training Schedule
Come join us for our next client advocate orientation and training session. This training will introduce you to the staff of our center, share with you our procedures for reaching our clients, and teach you the truth to share in love. You will receive practical, step-by-step instruction on how to peer counsel, even in the challenging situations we sometimes see. In addition to this session, your training will include watching our educational DVD library and completing our counselor workbook. You will have opportunities to put your skills to practice in role-playing activities and shadow experienced counselors in real sessions with clients.
